How I would describe my music and some of my influences...
I love writing a producing quite a variety of music. I love focusing on melodies and harmonies and get really inspired by strong, emotive female vocalists, so would say I build a lot of my sound around vocals and a feeling. Consistent inspirations for me include the likes of Lianne La Havas, Cleo Sol, Alice Phoebe Lou and Wolf Alice, I love the way they write and perform on recordings and are just so real with their lyrics. My live set is a combination of soul, indie, jazz and dance infused music. I also love ambient, atmospheric, dance and electronic and lately I’ve been experimenting in the studio with intertwining my electronic influences with my indie, acoustic influences. I guess I’m still developing my sound, and the more I play around the more I seem to be creating an Alba sounding combination. Its fun!
My idea behind the mix...
This is basically a collection of tracks I’m really digging at the moment, and tracks that I am drawing some inspiration from. These range, different songs for different moods, but I’ve tried to compile them to create some form of sonic journey, how I would like to listen through, as well as wanting to create a vibe in the shop while people are browsing!
A trend I'm really into at the moment...
Scarves ! don’t even know if that’s a trend, probably more of a practicality right now haha. I’m also loving the French bob and the cute little half bun.
My go to performance outfits...
Something I can dance in! Something playful, fun and a little flirty, that makes me feel like I could be somewhere else…
