What are your current favourite home comforts?

    My favourite things are mostly homewares. Jack and I like to surround ourselves with furniture we like, ceramics and artworks by talented makers, and beautifully bound books. I like spending time in my garden and I like rearranging things inside my house. In the photos, there's a purple book from Japan, a Ruth Castle weaving, our excellent Ercol chairs, and our candlestick holder which makes every meal feel special. We change the colour candle depending on our mood.

What is a discovery or rediscovery you've made during this time?

      Even though I surely have more time on my hands than ever, I have rediscovered the joy of simple food. Normally I like to cook challenging things, but at the moment, I am enjoying staples and fresh vegetables well-seasoned, things that aren't fussy. I have discovered a new loop to run on as well, a break from my usual course, past an enormous quince tree.

Where do you look for inspiration or escapism?

    I find going for a run really inspiring, I love running past different rows of houses and seeing how people arrange their backyard, or spotting makeshift home renovations. I also like watching films and picking a character to influence how I dress for a season. Right now I am thinking of the woman with the white-blond hair in the second Dekalog episode.

what would you love to be in it?

    If some things arrived in the mail, I would like white dinner candles from National Candles, the Yves Ring from Jasmin Sparrow, Kamala House published by Apartamento, and those hot silvery Mali Pants from Mina.
