The largest statue in Manhattan sits 550 feet in the air atop the Municipal Building. The Statue of Civic fame is a serene gilded figure to commemorate the consolidation of the five boroughs. The Fifth ring is a statement piece for when you’re ready to stand out.

The Ferriss Collection was inspired by an exhibition catalogue found in a second-hand book store in New York.

’Hugh Ferriss: Metropolis’ was shown by the Whitney Museum of American Art at the Equitable Center in 1986 to celebrate the reprint of Ferriss’ seminal publication, The Metropolis of Tomorrow. This document mirrors the dimensions and design of the original catalogue and introduces the relationship between master draughtsman and the city alongside the jewellery of the collection.
