Inspired by 1950's surf culture in SoCal their woven style sandals trace back to the practical legacy of the Mexican Huarache sandal in pop culture and earlier — citing traditionally handmade, intricately woven, raw leather sandals as inspiration for their ergonomic multi-purpose sandals. 

Malibu Sandal’s 3-piece outsole features a soft anatomically correct polyurethane footbed for a super comfortable fit, a sturdy phylon midsole for strong structural support and a durable rubber sole for ideal traction.
