In the early 80s a team of climbers, including Californian climber Mike Graham headed out to Yosemite to be the first all Italian group to conquer the half dome, the only problem, they weren't Italian. A quick name change later, Graham became Gramicci and the face was theirs. A few years down the track and Graham started to use the name for his venture into technical climbing gear, a venture which experienced a massive surge in popularity. Soon every young explorer was rocking shorts with integrated nylon belts and signature crotch gussets for better movement. Years later Gramicci has influenced streetwear everywhere, from Supreme and Stüssy to Nike and everything between, but we know that nothing beats an original!
