Wine Breather Carafe - Smoked / Brass
MENU Wine Breather Carafe - Smoked / Brass
With minimalist silhouettes and high functionality, the Bottle Collection is all about finding beauty in simple things. Water and wine: these two drinks can bring much joy, and even more so when enjoyed with sleek glassware. These useful pieces made from mouth-blown glass are now available in smoked glass. The clear Collection is timeless, while the new colourway brings a more contemporary look while maintaining the streamlined forms. Open a bottle of wine, place Wine Breather over the bottleneck and flip it all upside down - the wine will run through the decanting unit and into the big surfaced carafe for perfect aeration. Flip it all around once more to get the wine back in the original bottle, pour it and taste the advantages of a wine with 10 times the oxygen.

The glass carafe can be washed in a dishwasher on a normal washing program. Use a cloth to dry afterwards. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. The brass lid will oxidise from the moment it is exposed to air. To maintain a shiny appearance, use a mild metal polish and a soft cloth.
A little bit about Norm Architects:
Founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, Norm Architects specialise in residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography and art direction. Today, the group regularly collaborates with MENU, helping to drive the evolution of the brand and its product offerings.
Norm Architects’ name reflects the group’s emphasis on the importance of drawing inspiration from norms and traditions within architecture and design – particularly the Scandinavian design principles of timeless aesthetics and natural materials, and the modernist values of restraint and refinement. Guided by these principles, Norm Architects produce design that unites good materials and craftsmanship, while embodying beauty, traditions, history and, most importantly, timeless simplicity, where there is nothing more to add or take away.
