Noble & Savage Colonial Breakfast Tea
Our take on the classic English Breakfast, the famous blend brought to NZ by the first European settlers. Traditionally Breakfast teas are a robust blend, designed to go well with a hearty meal and with more broken leaves to infuse quickly, releasing the caffeine and tannins.
Our English Breakfast is an elegant blend of organic aromatic Ceylon highland tea and strong Assam tea. Together these blends result in a rich and full-bodied tea with a bright, brisk, stimulating finish. Enjoy on its own to taste the full flavour and aroma with a warm hint of spice, or add cream or milk to mute the aroma but bring out caramel tones.
Try this blend without milk; it has a smooth finish and wonderful aroma that may surprise you.
- 1 slightly heaped tsp per 250ml of water
- Fresh boiled water at 100˚C
- Brew for 3 min
- Enjoy clear or with milk
